In 2024, That’s What She Said Heart of Illinois took its first steps, joining the national movement of That’s What She Said by bringing it into our community. Since then, we’ve begun to put on annual shows that are beacons of inspiration, igniting conversations, and building bridges between different parts of our community

She Gave Women's Giving Circle
At That’s What She Said Heart of Illinois, we believe in the power of storytelling not only to inspire individuals but to effect positive change in our community. This mission extends beyond the stage and this year we are proudly partnering with She Gave Women's Giving Circle to amplify our impact.
The She Gave Women's Giving Circle brings together women with common interests to learn about community issues and effective philanthropy. Members of the She Said Women's Giving Circle will pool their donations and decide together to make grants that have an impact on local issues.
The She Gave Women's Giving Circle will announce $25,000 in grants to local organizations at That's What She Said Heart of Illinois 2025.

Every ticket purchased, every story heard, and every moment shared contributes to building a stronger, more connected Heart of Illinois. Lincoln Square Theater
This year, we are happy to announce that our show will be taking place in the enchanting Lincoln Square Theater (141 N Main St. Decatur, IL 62523). This space will host our 8 speakers who will take the stage and bravely share their stories.
